Congratulations to Judge Stephen Trott, who received the 2012 Idaho Governor’s Awards in the Arts for Special Commendations at the College of South Idaho in Twin Falls – September 27th.  Judge Trott serves as Senior Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  He is very active in the Boise Community and is associated with numerous non-profits including the Boise Philharmonic and Treasure Valley YMCA.   Recently, he thanked the John William Jackson Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation for recognizing Idahoans who have paid the ultimate price since 9/11.  A special 8 page insert with the names, photos and bios of the fallen Idahoans was in the Boise Philharmonic’s Picnic at the Pops Concert  program on September 1st in Eagle.  Additionally, the JWJF sponsored the attendance of numerous veterans from the Idaho Veterans Home.  Pictured are Jackie Jackson, JWJF Advisor and Stephen and Carol Trott.
