"Action" extends his sincerest thanks to Tom Abbott, a special friend!

For many years, many ex-MK International Company (MKIC) retirees thought Tom was dead.  Last year and more than 43 years later, “Action” found out that Tom was still alive.  While “Action” was in the military (Army) in Vietnam, Tom gave “Action” his first big construction break in 1966  with a job offer with RMK-BRJ, a Vietnam Joint Venture.  While in Vietnam, “Action” celebrated 7 consecutive Christmas holidays and it was in Vietnam that Jackson got his nickname, “Action.”  Tom, who lives in Florida, was in Meridian for the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Morrison-Knudsen and 27th MKIC Retirees Reunion.  Tom wanted to see first hand iYERP scrapping activities.  “Action” invited him to tour the new headquarters of Scentsy which is under construction.  ESI is the general contractor.
