Dear John William Jackson Fund Supporter;
Whether it is found through the recycling of metal, foraged from a dumpster, or derived from a letter campaign during the holiday season – The John William Jackson Fund needs to raise money for Idaho youth!!
As we reach the close of 2012, we again appeal to you for help. Help in making an impact on the lives of young people that need our encouragement, support and funding for the programs that enrich their lives.
100% of Donations to the John William Jackson Fund are passed along to the deserving grant recipients. Last year, JWJF granted the largest total amount in its 9-years of grant giving. $115,000 was given to organizations benefiting Idaho youth.
$64,500 in academic scholarships for Idaho universities and technology initiatives
$10,000 in support of outdoor sporting
$24,650 for youth outreach and exposure to the performing arts
$16,745 for the Musical Instruments Purchase & Repair Program
How we do it – We are 100% volunteer. We hit the streets working with construction companies in our iYERP program. We organize community events for recycling education & we engage with our generous friends, families and supporters. With your help, we are making an impact on the lives of Idaho kids, through art, sports and academics.
How you can continue to help – Beyond the fundraising generated via recycling and corporate donations, the annual grants are made possible by donations from people like you. Donations can be made on-line or via the enclosed donation slip. We also need help with volunteers – for grant writing, our annual metal recycle day, and supporting the daily recycling demands.
