This week's spotlight is on another young music student (piano), Gabriel Ball, a sophomore at Riverstone International School who was a 2013 John William Jackson Fund scholarship recipient at the Boise State University Summer Chamber Music Camp.

In Gabriel’s own words:

“The Boise State University Summer Chamber Music Camp was both an excellent learning experience and a good deal of fun. Over the nine hour day I attended seven classes:  fundamental skills, music theory, music history, chamber ensembles, choir, master class, and a piano workshop. In each class I learned new and valuable information that will certainly aid my musical career.  I enjoyed the camp, and would recommend it to any young musician in the Boise area and beyond.”

Note:  Gabriel studied under the direction of Del Parkinson, Boise State University Music Professor.
