For the third year, the Idaho Youth Education Recycling Partnership (iYERP) has teamed up with Union Corner Construction, Inc., Vancouver, Washington to fund the John William Jackson Fund Law Scholarship.

Note: Lorrie, from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, dropped by to meet with Chris and Chad, recipients of the John William Jackson Fund law scholarship in memory of her late husband, Winn Apel. Winn had a distinguished legal career and was an avid marathoner. He ran marathons in every state and a few overseas.

We thank Dean Silak for reaching out to Lorrie and inviting her to the law school to meet and visit with the recipients and “Action” Jackson. The Fund encourages scholarship recipients to learn about the individuals for whom scholarships are in memory of.
