Scholarship Recipient for 2014-15 Academic Year

Maite Garay Senior – $2,000 Nursing Chula Vista CA

We recognized Tyson’s unselfish and caring action of donating one of his kidneys to a deserving recipient.  Since he is a Gonzaga University graduate, we felt that his alma mater was deserving of the grant for $2000.  While working in Idaho, Tyson was an iYERP metal recycling volunteer.  He is now working at Pacific Steel & Recycling’s Headquarters in Great Falls, Montana.

Note:  April 2014, the Fund awarded $33,000 for health science scholarships.  $22,000 of which was awarded for nursing scholarship grants to Boise State University, Brigham Young University – Rexburg, College of Idaho, Concordia University – Portland, Idaho State University, Northwest Nazarene University and Treasure Valley Community College.
