The event was Smokey Bear’s 74th birthday celebration held at Kleiner Park in Meridian.

Note:  The A & C office was moved from 214 East Jefferson to a new location.  “Action” Jackson spotted the yellow hats and rescued them from being thrown away.  The hats helped keep the sun off the young children.
