Do you YERP?

Started in 2007 as an initiative to improve our community and raise funds for Idaho children, the Idaho Youth Education Recycling Partnership  — iYERP — has proved to be a success thanks to businesses and individuals like you. In 2008, we started to see the enormous potential of this innovative fundraising program. The brainchild of Bill “Action” Jackson, Vice President of Development, and our friends at Pacific Steel & Recycling, this partnership has generated over $675,000 to-date from recycling alone.

How It Works

  We supply containers to collect metal scrap.

  We pick up your throw-away metal such as
construction materials, junk cars, or copper wire.

  Drop your recycling material off at Pacific Steel & Recycling;
tell them you’d like to donate to the John William Jackson Fund.

  You’ll receive a tax-deductible receipt for the value of the recycled material,
and you will see the impact of your generosity on Idaho youth through
dispensation by the John William Jackson Fund.

Rather than heading to the landfill, we direct scrap metal to recycling – from which both our environment and local youth benefit. If you would like to become a member of this partnership or want more information, please contact: Bill “Action” Jackson (208-890-8503 or iyerp2010@gmail.com).
